Light-duty welding positioners (also known as welding positioners, welding turntables, or welding rotary worktables) are auxiliary equipment used for welding, cutting, grinding, assembly, inspection, and other processes on small workpieces. The equipment mainly consists of a rotary mechanism, a tilting mechanism, and an electrical control system. By tilting and rotating the worktable, the workpiece can be placed at the optimal welding position or assembly angle. Our light-duty welding positioners cover load capacities from 30 kg to 50 kg. They feature a precision structure, simple operation, and high flexibility, making them particularly suitable for welding small components such as flanges, steel pipes, ring-shaped parts, and circular workpieces.

Performance Features

• Reasonable Load Capacity, Wide Application: The 30 kg model has a horizontal load capacity of 30 kg and a vertical load capacity of 15 kg; the 50 kg model offers greater load capacity and is suitable for workpieces weighing up to 50 kg with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 400 mm. The equipment has good structural rigidity and strong load-bearing capability.

• Flexible Tilting, Accurate Positioning: The worktable can be freely tilted from 0° to 90°, allowing the workpiece to reach the ideal welding position through the positioner's tilting function. The standard model meets the welding requirements of most small workpieces.

• Smooth Speed Regulation, Convenient Control: Equipped with a permanent-magnet DC infinitely variable speed motor, the table rotates via a gearbox, achieving 360° continuous rotation. The rotation speed can be flexibly adjusted according to process requirements. The control box features a speed control knob, direction switch, foot pedal switch, etc., with an intuitive and simple user interface.

• Interlocked Control, Improved Efficiency: The equipment supports welding interlock function – when the positioner rotates, welding proceeds simultaneously; when the positioner stops, welding automatically stops. An optional timing function is available; after a preset time, the equipment will automatically stop, allowing one operator to manage multiple units, effectively improving production efficiency and reducing labor costs.

• Precision Structure, Long Durability: The worktable is made of high-quality steel plate, processed through cutting, heat treatment, and polishing to ensure no deformation even after prolonged use. The transmission gears are hardened by high-temperature quenching for excellent wear resistance and long service life. Optional 200 or 300 welding chucks are available, offering flexible and adjustable clamping ranges.

Application Scope
Light-duty welding positioners are widely used in processes such as welding, cutting, grinding, assembly, painting, and inspection. They are primarily used for rotating and tilting circular and annular workpieces, positioning the weld seam in the optimal horizontal or ship-shaped position for welding. The equipment can be used with welding chucks or dedicated fixtures mounted on the worktable to hold workpieces for manual welding; it can also be paired with a welding manipulator for automatic welding. It is suitable for various small-workpiece processing scenarios, including flange circumferential seam welding, steel pipe butt welding, and annular part welding.
